This Privacy Policy explains how Süäfast ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use our website and related services (the "Platform").

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone, role (parent, tutor, handyman, employer), address fields, and profile details you provide.
  • Booking and job data: lesson subjects, schedules, handyman job descriptions, service addresses, applications, and messages you send through Platform features.
  • Payment data: for tutoring, payment references and status from Paystack; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, cookies, and usage needed for security and performance.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and secure accounts
  • Match tutors, handymen, and job listings with users
  • Process tutoring payments and send transactional notifications
  • Operate admin review, approval, and support workflows
  • Improve the Platform and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Sharing

We may share information with:

  • Other users when needed for bookings or applications (e.g. handyman sees your job details; employer sees applicant contact when you apply).
  • Service providers such as hosting, email, SMS (when enabled), and Paystack for payments.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect safety and rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Handyman job addresses

Service addresses you provide for handyman bookings are shared with the selected handyman and admins for fulfillment and safety. Only submit addresses you are comfortable sharing for that purpose.

5. Retention

We retain account and transaction records as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. You may request deletion subject to lawful retention obligations.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your choices

  • Update profile information in your dashboard
  • Manage notification preferences where available
  • Contact us to access, correct, or delete data where applicable law allows

8. Children

Parents or guardians create accounts for learners where required. We expect adults to manage bookings and communications for minors on the Platform.

9. International users

The Platform is operated from Ghana and may process data in jurisdictions where our providers host services.

10. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
